About Therapy
Therapy is helpful for anyone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. At Heal and Grow: Therapy Center of Atlanta, therapy is commonly used to manage anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
We offer both in-person therapy in Alpharetta and secure telehealth sessions across Georgia, giving you flexible options for care that fits your needs. If your thoughts, emotions, or relationships are impacting your daily life, therapy can provide support, clarity, and practical tools to help you feel more in control.
Yes, Heal and Grow: Therapy Center of Atlanta accepts insurance, making therapy more accessible and affordable for many clients. Coverage can vary depending on your specific plan, so we recommend reaching out to our team to verify your benefits. We’re happy to guide you through the process so you can understand your options and start care with confidence.
Your first therapy session is focused on getting to know you. During this session, your therapist will ask about your current challenges, personal history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and ensure you feel comfortable with your therapist. Together, you’ll begin creating a personalized plan tailored to your goals, so you leave with a clear sense of direction.
Yes, we offer secure telehealth therapy for clients anywhere in Georgia. Virtual therapy allows you to meet with your therapist from the comfort of your home while receiving the same level of care as in-person sessions. This option is ideal for busy schedules, parents, or anyone who prefers a more convenient and flexible approach to therapy.
Most clients start with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Over time, your therapist may recommend adjusting the frequency based on your progress and goals. At Heal and Grow: Therapy Center of Atlanta, your treatment plan is always personalized, so you receive the right level of support at every stage of your journey.
Parent involvement is an important part of the therapy process. At Heal and Grow: Therapy Center of Atlanta, we begin with a parent-only intake session to better understand your child’s needs, history, and goals. This allows us to create a thoughtful, personalized plan from the start.
Throughout therapy, we also schedule parent check-ins every 3–5 sessions to keep you informed of progress, share insights, and provide practical strategies you can use at home. This collaborative approach helps ensure your child is supported both in and outside of therapy while maintaining a safe and appropriate space for them during individual sessions.
